Using Static Expressions
Once you're happy with a static expression, you might want to generate images/videos of it at different levels of activation.
In the following example, we're going to use the Anger 002 static expression.

As explained in the "Batch Image Export" page, we're going to work in the "Dynamic Expression" tab.

To set Anger 002 at 50% activation, we're simply going to move the first control point of its track to 50% (0.5).
In order to do that precisely, we start by setting "snapping" on, in the upper-right part of the window (see figure 1).

This way, the position of our control points will snap to the nodes of an invisible grid.

While moving control points, keep an eye on the Intensity field at the bottom of the screen (see figure 2).

At this point, your dynamic expression window should look similar to figure 3.

Once this is done, save the current dynamic expression:

File => Dynamic Expression => Save...

Give it an appropriate file name, in this case, Anger 002 - 050prc.fda .

You may want to repeat this process for different levels of activation.

Typically, one would generate 5 dynamic expressions, all using the same static expression, with different levels of activation, named as follows:

Anger 002 - 000prc.fda
Anger 002 - 025prc.fda
Anger 002 - 050prc.fda
Anger 002 - 075prc.fda
Anger 002 - 100prc.fda

These different dynamic expressions can later be used to automatically create a large set of images/videos (see "Batch Video Export" page).
